    شهادة من داخل المنطقة الخضراء :
    مليار دولار خسائر مادية و300 بين قتيل وجريح

    في 12 تشرين اول 2006 تمّ نشر تقرير كتبه مراسل من داخل المنطقة الخضراء اثناء حصول الانفجارات بعنوان: "حماقات المنطقة الخضراء". يذكر كاتب التقرير انّه في حوالي الساعة 11:00 مساءا دوّى انفجار هائل جنوب المنطقة الخضراء تلاه عدد كبير من الانفجارات الثقيلة التي بلغ عددها حوالي 30 او40 انفجارا استمرت طوال الليل. وننقل لكم ما قاله كاتب التقرير.

    "لقد صعدت الى السطح لأرى ماذا يحصل فرأيت السنة اللهب والنيران والقذائف التي تتطاير وتنفجر في السماء وكان الأمر أشبه باحتفالات الرابع من يوليو وألعابها الناريه. لقد كان الجنود يركضون في المجمّع الخاص بنا مذهولين ومرتعبين, يتساءلون ان كان مجمّعنا سيكون الهدف التالي. نستطيع أن نسمع في العادة الانفجارات الكبيرة التي تحصل بشكل يومي في بغداد وغالبا ما تكون عبوات ناسفة تستهدف العربات الأمريكية, لكنّ ما سمعناه هذه المرّة كان اضخم واكبر واطول من أي شيء سمعناه من قبل على الاطلاق.... لم استطع النوم طوال الليل, وفي الصباح حلقت وذهبت الى مكتبي, وبالمناسبة فقد كنت محظوظا بأن تكون غرفتي بدون نوافذ مطلّة على بغداد, لأنه قد حصل أكثر من مرّة أن قام قنّاصة من "التمرّد" -المقاومة- بقنص جنود وهم يحلقون أمام النوافذ المواجهة لبغداد, وقد كانت ادمغتهم تتناثر على الزجاج والحائط وكنّا نستطيع ان نسمع صوت الطلقة, لكنّ لم يستطع حرّاسنا ايجاد القنّاصة في أيّ مرّة على الاطلاق. في مكتبي علمت انّه قد تمّ استهداف قاعدة "فالكون" وهي من أجدد وأحدث القواعد الأمريكية المتقدّمة والمحصّنة والمزودة بذخائر ثقيلة وتقع في الضاحية الجنوبية لبغداد – الدورة. ولمنع "المتمردين" من القيام بعمليات "انتحارية" تنسف القاعدة عبر شاحنات مفخخة, تمّ تزويد هذه القاعدة بجدران من الاسمنت المسلّح وأبراج المراقبة المحصّنة وتمّ تصميم القاعدة بطريقة تمنع حصول عمليات انتحارية" وتحد كثيرا من مفاعيلها, لكنّ ذلك لم يمنع عناصر الحركة المقاومة من استعمال قذائف المورتار لضرب ما يسمى بالمناطق "السوبر آمنة" في المنطقة الخضراء. وقد اصبحت قاعدة "فالكون" أكبر مستودع ترسانة أسلحة أمريكية للقيادة العامة للجيش جنوب بغداد. في هذه المرّة سمعنا انّ المقاومة قد استخدمت صواريخ كاتيوشا وغراد بدلا من قذائق المورتار, وقد كانت النتيجة فورية ومدمّرة جدا. ووفقا للتقديرات الأولية وعلى الرغم من كون الوقت مبكرا لإعطاء أرقام دقيقة, فان التقديرات تشير الى انّ الخسائر الأمريكية قد تجاوزت بالتأكيد الـ مليار دولار نتيجة لهذه العملية.

    هذا فيما يتعلّق بالخسائر المادية, امّا الخسائر البشرية فهي أسوء بكثير. أكثر من 300 أمريكي من بينهم عناصر في الجيش الأمريكي, الاستخبارات الأمريكية السي آي ايه, ومترجمين ومقاولين أمريكيين, قتلوا وجرحوا على الفور اوماتوا اثناء نقل الى مستشفى الحبانية العسكري الامريكي اوخلال تواجدهم هناك. بالاضافة الى ذلك, هناك 165 عنصر أمريكي جراحهم بليغة وتحتاج الى عناية دقيقة, و39 عنصر يعانون من جراح أخف من ذلك. امّا بالنسبة للقوات المسلحة العراقية (الجيش) فقد قتل منها 122 جندي عراقي وجرح 90 آخرين يعانون من جراح بليغة. وقد تمّ نقل الجميع الى مستشفى الحبّانية العسكري الأمريكي الواقع حوالي 70 كلم غرب بغداد.

    وعلى الرغم من انّ ثلاث طائرات ضخمة خاصة بالاسعاف تقلت اوليا الاصابات الى مستشفى الحبانية العسكري, الاّ انّه قد تمّ اصدار كم هائل من التصريحات الرسمية التي تدّعي "وقوع بعض الاصابات الطفيفة القليلة ولا قتلى على الاطلاق نهائيا"...............

    يختتم الكاتب تقريره بالقول: "الآن يجب ان يكون واضحا جدا انّ عدد الاصابات القاتلة في العراق وأفغانستان المصرح به فعلا هو أقل من الحقيقة. على سبيل المثال, لقد كان معنا هنا ضابط صغير منذ ثلاث ايام, وقد كان تمّ تعيينه وفرزه للعمل في المطار الذي يتم شحن الجثث الأمريكية عبره الى "دوفر". ووفقا لهذا الضابط, فقد أشرف الشهر الماضي (أي ايلول/سبتمبر) على تحميل أكثر من 170 تابوت عسكري, لكنّ المفاجأة انّ البنتاغون قد اعلن عن جزء صغير من هذا الرقم فقط!! بالطبع هذا الضابط لا يحمل أسماء القتلى, لكنّه يحمل ارقامهم, (ثم يقول الكاتب متهكما على الكذب الرسمي) ربما الضابط الأرفع اولصّ هاليبيرتون [شركة نفط امريكية] يقوم بتعبأة هذه التوابيت بالمخدرات اوبالبنات الغير بالغين ليعيد شحنها الى الوطن في أمريكا, لكنّ هذا الضابط الذي كان معنا ليس لديه من سبب يدعوه ويدفعه للكذب. وسيكون من المثير أن ننتظر لنرى ما هي أرقام البنتاغون عن القتلى الذين سقطوا في قاعدة "فالكون" في هذه العملية, "الوقت قد يخبرنا بحقيقة ذلك, لكن هم لن يفعلوا ابدا".

    Official Casualty List from U.S. military hospital at al-Habbaniyah located some 70km west of Baghdad. U.S. medical personnel at al-Habbaniyah initially stated that the US military hospital at the massive American-occupied air base there had begun to receive dead and wounded personnel. The military hospital in al-Habbaniyah, the largest in occupied Iraq, was opened on 12 May this year in response to sharply rising (and redacted) US casualties.
